The ELC Members


The Executive Leadership Circle (ELC) is an integral component of The ELG and is comprised of experienced senior executives and functional area experts such as finance, legal, project management, etc. The ELG uses members of the ELC on an engagement-by-engagement basis, working with the core members of The ELG, to provide the right mix of skills and expertise for specific engagements.

David Collier

Mr. Collier has extensive experience in technology-based, early stage companies. He is a business oriented financial executive with direct operational experience and proven ability to manage business growth in alignment with financial objectives. In a financial management role, Mr. Collier is able to effectively draw on direct operational experiences to make financial decisions with a keen understanding of the business implications, as well as sell the virtues of the company to the financial and industrial communities. In an operational role, he is able to leverage direct financial management experiences to make effective operational decisions, contribute to closing sales and develop successful business relationships. He is known for building strong relationships with people, resulting in strong client and partner relationships, and highly motivated internal teams.  David is a member of the Board of Directors for the Center of Quality and Productivity at University of Maryland, and managed a Scholarship Award Program at USi that sponsored a student at University of Maryland. He received both a Bachelor of Science in Business Finance and Masters of Business Administration from the University of Maryland.



Kate Pynn
 
Miss Pynn’s expertise is in finding, acknowledging, and resolving company challenges. She helps companies meet and overcome their challenges by establishing new departments and successfully maturing them, designing efficient processes to create competitive advantage and streamline, managing and turning around an existing troubled team to become motivated, effective, and efficient, and/or defining and managing a multi‐faceted project to a successful outcome.  Her forte is implementing and managing Process and Quality concepts and initiatives such as ITIL, Six Sigma, Capability Maturity Model (CMM), and ISO. To support these efforts, she has over 18 years of experience in requirements gathering and documentation management, project management strategies, implementation execution, and change and workflow management.  Her specialties include Strategic Management, Process Development, and Project Management.  Kate received a Bachelor of Art in English and Philosophy from Washington College and a Master of Art in Business Management from Antioch University McGregor.


John Weisz

John Weisz has dedicated his professional career to facilitating the drive for perfection in enterprises across many industries; to include, manufacturing, design, robotics and automation, aviation, education, telecommunications and defense.  In his consulting career he has led companies to Six Sigma excellence using his own grassroots approach, resulting in significantly faster ROI on projects.   He has employed the various Six Sigma methodologies across all product/service life cycle phases [initial design, improvement of established processes and process re-engineering].  Over the last ten years he has innovated in translating the ‘Voice of the Customer’ to the ‘Voice of the Business’ and ‘Voice of the Process’; thus leading to faster, more reliable and highly profitable ‘go-to-market’ deployments.  John has served as an officer and director on several boards of professional and civic organizations.  He has published more than a dozen technical and business management papers and taught or lectured at various professional venues and universities on diverse process engineering and product assurance topics.  He graduated from the U.S. Military Academy with a Bachelor of Science in Engineering and received a Masters of Business Administration from Loyola College.  He holds four professional certifications.
